Tres muñecos de Ken, el novio de Barbie, hechos en edición especial para el 60 aniversario del personaje, fueron subastados en París por un total de 5.500 euros (más de 6.$ 700), on a bid organized by the Drug House for the benefit of the NGO Make A Wish.
These toys are the fruit of a collaboration between its manufacturer, the American company Mattel, and the French fashion house Berluti, which has dressed all three with its 2021 summer collection.
After the anniversary, Mattel and Berluti decided to auction them with an exit price of 100 euros (122 dollars) each and donate the collection of the sale to the NGO Make to Wish, which helps to fulfill dreams of children with serious illnesses.

The auction expected buyers from all over the world with a double profile: "They want to help the NGO Make to Wish and want these unique toys to expand their collection," the commissioner told Efe, Philippe Ancelin.
As for Barbie, that same British house came to sell for 247.000 euros (301.400 dollars) a copy in 2010 that carried jewels of the Australian designer Stefano Canturi.
In addition to the dolls, a specimen of Ken's car was also auctioned in Paris, a buggy manufactured by the Hot Wheels company for the anniversary, which had an exit price of 300 euros (366 dollars) and that was awarded for 2.400 (about 2.$ 930).
