The New York Fashion Week begins tomorrow Wednesday with about a hundred veteran and emerging designers who will present their proposals for spring-summer 2022, many of them with face-to-face events after two editions limited by the pandemic. The Official Program of the NewYork Fashion Week (NYFW, in English) is celebrated between September 8 and 12 and will focus especially on American talent, a claim of the US Fashion Designers Council (CFDA), although it is accompanied by aaccumulation of complementary presentations.
Who will present collections?
This edition starts with the parade of Ulla Johnson (September 8) and closes with that of Tom Ford (September 12), and includes the return to the great apple of Thom Browne and Altuzarra, as well as a deployment of names such as Carolina Herrera, Oscarof the rent, Michael Kors, Gabriela Hearst, Jason Wu or Prabal Gurung. They will also show their creations Willy Chavarria, Tory Burch, Maryam Nassir Zadeh, Sergio Hudson, Coach, Proenza Schouler, Rodarte, Brandon Maxwell, Zero Maria Cornejo, Markarian and Telfar and Telfar, and a special fashion space of men will be dedicated through a dozen brands concentrated on Wednesday.
Face -to -face parades
Outside the program, the calendar of the American collections covers the catwalks of Christian Siriano and Harlem's Fashion Row; while the Federation of Fashion Designers of Latin America inaugurates its "shows" by the hand of the Spaniards Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada and Custo Barcelona. In the face -to -face parades, which will largely return to the headquarters of Spring Studios in the neighborhood of Chelsea (Manhattan), full vaccination proof will be required to attendees in accordance with local regulations, in a sample of collaboration between organizing entities.
