MET Gala 2021: Details of the return of the great fashion event

The upcoming MET Gala will be divided into two events. The first of them will be in September of this year as part of the closing of Fashion Week in New York. It is still unknown how this edition will be, everything will depend on the restrictions that are in place by then.
The second announced event will take place next May 2022, the date on which the event was originally held, bringing together the celebrities of the moment and designers who highlight all their proposals to present pieces for each occasion.

The announcement of this successful news for fans of the event was announced by Andrew Bolton, curator of the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of New York, and by Anna Wintour, curator, leader of the Costume Institute and director of Vogue magazine.
The organizing council hopes that by then, the conditions in the United States, with the vaccination campaign, will already be sufficiently advanced to be able to hold the MET Gala event without any problem.

In addition to announcing the new dates, those involved also announced the theme that will revolve around the next edition, which will be 'American fashion'. This theme has been considered to exalt the value of an industry that has been affected by the pandemic.
