The gymnast Alexa Moreno reaches the horse jump final in Tokyo 2020
The gymnast Alexa Moreno has managed to advance to the Olympic Final of Jump of horse after.Moreno obtained the seventh place in the classification of this separation with a score of 14.663 and became the second Mexican that advances to an Olympic final in artistic gymnastics.The first was Denisse López in Sydney 2000.
Moreno, originally from Mexicali, also participated in the tests of the All-Around-the four devices of artistic gymnastics: asymmetric bars, horse jump, balance and soil beam-although it did not reach the final classification.The gymnast will compete in the horse jump final next Sunday, August 1 at 3.00, Central Mexico time.
This is Alexa Moreno's second participation in an Olympic Games.In Brazil 2016, he highlighted during his performance although he did not reach the medal, however, since then he promoted his training and in 2018 he managed to get on the podium in the Doha Gymnastics World Cup in which he won the Bronze Medal.It has been the first Mexican to get it.
"I am a very powerful person.My muscles are quite strong and my strength are my trapezoids, ”he said in an interview with this newspaper in March, when he was preparing for Tokyo.The gymnast has overcome several obstacles during her career, one of them has been criticism in Mexico for her physical complexion that has served her to promote."The level of violence he received could represent an emotional blow that could take her to retire.
