Armani cancels his January parades in Milan and Paris for the Coronavirus

The Italian designer Giorgio Armani reported today that he cancels his parades scheduled for January at Milan's Male Fashion Week and in the week dedicated to the Haute Couture of Paris for the increase in cases of Coronavirus in Europe in Europe.

The Italian fashion house explained in a note that the decision responds to a careful consideration of the aggravation of the epidemiological situation, derived from the rapid propagation of the cases of the omicron variant.

The Italian firm also indicated that the 87 -year -old designer has always defended that "the parades are special and irreplaceable moments", but that "the protection of the health and safety of collaborators and the public is once again a priority".

Milan's male fashion week will be held from January 14 to 18, while the week dedicated to Parisian haute couture will take place between January 24 to 27.
