Seoul, November 9 (Yonhap)-Song Hye-Kyromantic.

To delight many fans of Korean romantic dramas, Song will return to television this week with a new title of the same genre, after a two -year pause.

"Some people could ask why I chose to make a melodrama again, while there are many others who are waiting for my new melodrama," Song said during an online press conference to present his next series, entitled "Now, We Are Breaking Up"(Now, we are breaking).

On the reason for her choice, the actress added that as she ages she has more experience and learns more, so she believes that the way she acts in a melodrama would be different from the previous one.

Set in the local fashion industry, SBS's new drama revolves around three women who attended the same high school and fell in love and broke with three men.This is the first Song project after "Encounter", the successful romantic series of 2018 co-starring actor Park Bo-Gum.

"Now, We Are Breaking Up" is also his first project since he divorced, in July 2019, by Song Joong-Ki, the co-star of "Descendants of the Sun".

Song said that, unlike his previous work, that he has elements of a fairy and fantasy story, his new series is quite realistic.

The actress added that she felt good acting because there are many elements with which women of her age can identify.

His character is Haong-Eun, a passionate and professional team leader from the design department of a fashion company called "The One".He falls in love with Yoon Jae-Gook, a rich and handsome independent photographer played by the model converted into actor Jang Ki-Yong.

For Jang, this was his last project before joining the army in August.All healthy men in South Korea must perform mandatory military service for about 18 months.

The actor said he was attracted to history and that the script seemed interesting, and that he was curious to know how the love story between a very practical woman and a man who is, by nature, a free spirit would develop.

The online press conference was recorded before Jang's entrance to the army and was broadcast on Tuesday on the SBS and Naver TV website.

The drama was written by "Misty", a 2018 television series starring Kim Nam-Joo and Ji Jin-Hee, and directed by Lee Gil-Bok of the popular hospital drama "Dr.Romantic 2 "(the romantic doctor 2).

"Now, We Are Breaking Up" will premiere on Friday at 10:00 p.m.
