Buenos Aires - In the hands of the Avon Foundation for Women, Inexmoda presented with the designer Diego Guarnizo and three designers of Peru and Ecuador the opening catwalk of Colombiaatex+Colombiamoda 2021. On this occasion the parade "Look again" had a purposeSocial: Contribute to eliminating violence against women.
Designers joined for a cause
With the idea of showing a proposal inspired by women and their values, calling for union and collaboration between cultures and nations to generate greater strength in issues of gender violence, together with GuarnizLatin American fashion such as Annaiss Yucra, by Peru and Cindy Castro and Paulina Anda, from Ecuador.
At the end of the parade, each of the designers donated a garment to be auctioned through the Avon Foundation for women.In addition, the recognized Colombian creators Silvia Tcherassi, Johanna Ortiz and Beatriz Camacho donated.“The collection will be aimed at continuing to work from the AVON Foundation for women, together with other institutions, in education for the prevention of violence against women.We want fashion to become an opportunity to contribute socially, ”said Carolina Henao Restrepo, executive director of the Avon Foundation for women.
Colombiatex+Colombiamoda 2021 can be visited until July 29 in Plaza Mayor, from Medellíny in digital modality, its business sector, will continue active until August 6.
Latin American catwalk

Annaiss Yucra presented Pachamama Autumn/Winter 2021, a proposed proposal in the documentary "Life sowers", which tells the story of five women from the highlands who are dedicated to agriculture. On the catwalk, a multiplicity of textiles such as tissues could be seen;smart fabrics;Jacquards and textile compost, a mixture of organic cotton in small amounts with fibers that have more solidity. The Ecuadorian Cindy Castro and Paulina Anda worked in collaboration for this catwalk with their costume and footwear proposals. The Resort 2022 Collection of Cindy Castro was inspired by the music of Latin American singers such as Natalia Lafourcade, Julieta Venegas, Andrea Echeverri and Catalina García.The dresses in fabrics such as light silks, linos and sustainable viscose stood out.
As for footwear, Paulina is with her Makiatto brand gave an ultrafemenine touch to the catwalk with twenty designs.Among them, sandals and open shoes of medium height and triangular, square and some round shapes.Also, shoes lined in the same materials of the garments and some merged with leather.
