Until a while ago, Mexican fashion appeared and felt in great events that encompassed creators, editors, specialized press and, above all, people who love or live fashion.Although the situation changed a lot, now we are enjoying these events again, such as the Fashion Days San Miguel de Allende, which are a pillar for the textile industry to continue updating.
When we think about the economic regions of Mexico, perhaps some people ignore the reach of the Bajío.But this region has an incredible potential for the most demanding fashion lovers to stand out for their style, creations and scenarios that live in only one to deliver a good visual quality show.
For three days, San Miguel de Allende and the magical town of Dolores Hidalgo were scenarios of the hottest trends that the Bajío area have for all of us and, in the last one we will tell you in detail everything that was lived on this day full ofFashion, History and Talent.
Fashion Days: an event created by Blanca Salinas with three main axes
To enter into context, we have to say that this fashion platform is semiannual and supports Latin American design with social responsibility.Fashion Days has shared a concern to help the talent of designers reach more people, without neglecting the concerns of the real world and, with this very clear sense, the platform created by Blanca Salinas has a strong slogan: “Fashion with cause ".

Finally he could talk with Blanca Salinas, who tells us that returning to face -to -face events is wonderful.“Contributing to the reactivation not only of the fashion industry, but also of the textile industry and tourism makes us very happy. In addition, we will not set aside the social cause that distinguishes us so much ”.
Salinas told us that for her and all her team was a fairly complicated edition of elaborating through the health protocols, but we must highlight one of the anecdotes that she herself told us during these days in SMA: Blanca sat in San Miguel de Allende toCalculate the exact time at which the sunset fell to select the spots where the parades were made.Honestly, that speaks of the delivery and passion she has for Fashion Days.

“With a totally hippie chic style and a 100% cultural zone, the clothing of the Bajío area is something interesting for tendencies lovers.Well, although fashion is changing, it is interesting to see that how people adapt an accessory or garment that is used here to their personal style, alive or not in this area, ”said Blanca Salinas A of the last.

Day 1: The alley with Lydia Lavín
When someone goes to San Miguel - without importing the number of times he does - he cannot arrive and not feel something special with a city that until today continues to keep its cobbled streets and colonial buildings. The charm of the Novohispana era was the perfect setting for Lydia Lavín designs to do the ideal click with Juárez Park.
In the afternoon we saw the most beautiful colors, the most striking fabrics and the love for Mexico that Lavín feels, but hours later we saw a collection where the minimalist cuts and the stamped fabrics were protagonists of the night. In the Lydia Lavín parade, a strong collaboration was present with Monserrat Messeguer in the footwear, Tanya Moss with the jewelry and passion with the hats.
Day 2: Nine catwalks, three different scenarios, a single vineyard
Although on the two in Fashion Days it was the one that had the most trends for us, we must accept that the locations and garments made everything a quite enjoyable visual show. The day began with the minimalism of Pánuco, the versatility of Germán Ruiz, the journey to the sea with Ignazio Spinoza and the detail attention of the designer Isabella Springmühl.
In the afternoon, we were located in an incredible artificial beach where the sunset was part of the Yeshua Herrera collection. The designer taught us that comfort is not fought with style. At the end of this parade, we traveled in time to the 80s with the glam rock and the volume that Iván Ávalos showed us with those dresses where the drama and the black color were a fundamental part of his collection.
Our day concluded in "La Troje", which are the remains of what one day was a hacienda at the Valle de los Trails vineyard. Here we could appreciate that the Peter Pan -style necks and the boiled sleeves are the best combination in the Yoemor. In addition, we saw nuptial looks with movement during the Ibraina catwalk. The closure of this day ran on the account of Vero Solís, with a collection inspired by the movie "Coco".
Day 3: Dolores Hidalgo marked the trends to follow
For our third and last day of Fashion Days, the magical people of Dolores Hidalgo (place that was the cradle of the independence of Mexico in 1810) showed us its charm to receive us with open arms to see the last five parades, which they hadplace in front of the parish of Our Lady of Dolores.Just where the struggle for the independence of the Spanish monarchy began, our eyes saw the elegance and timelessness of Jesús de la Garsa. We were also able to appreciate the work with textures by Edher Gin and the reinvention of a classic like the bikelet biker thanks to Lucio Moreno.

To close this day, Bernarda presented a collection that is addressed to a cosmopolitan woman, which highlighted her work were the prints that took over Dolores Hidalgo, and the duo of the Pineda Covalín style showed us fashion more sport with herpersonal and unique touch.
With just three days full of trends, the platform created and directed by Blanca Salinas showed that fashion as a reference has been opened to more states in the country, the effort of all those who make possible fashion days is reflected in that visual mixtureHow much we liked.
At the end of this little chronicle, it is important to emphasdistinguishes us with total independence.
If the handling of the pandemic advances and allows it, we will not wait another two years, since the next edition of Fashion Days can be held in 2022, with a tentative date for April.
