AUTUMN IN WHITE, BLACK AND RED
Nora Vara is the youngest of the generation of models that has been going strong, with a really powerful quintet of Spanish women at the helm
In the Paris fashion show, one of the last that could be done without the new distances just before the confinement, Maria Grazia Chiuri chose the artistic collective Claire Fontaine, made up of Fulvia Carnevale & James Thornill, who bases her work on the Ready-Made concept, to fill the space with colour. But only that, the setting.
With garish neon signs that clamored for phrases and reflections on feminine identity such as When the women strike the world stops or Feminine beauty is a ready-made, her proposal for Dior emphasized the new femininity and black as the predominant color ( together with gray and white) for ties, biker caps and wide pants.

It is clear that the fashion of the new normality is ready to sweep away with a proposal that emphasizes the feminine and feminist... And of course, with this panorama submerged in the essential changes in the firms, the catwalks and all their protagonists (which was already taking shape before the crisis) new voices also appear.
A rising generation of clear-headed youth who know who they want to associate their names with. Spanish models stand out such as Neus Bermejo, Maika Merino, Beatriz Ronda, Nuria Roitchild and the youngest, Nora Vara, the protagonist of this editorial.
The ones to come
The new generation is in their twenties
1
Nora Vara. She is 21 years old, she was born in Badalona and there she continues to have her headquarters and her boyfriend. This super-tall (he's 6'2") model discovered by View Management has an exceptional hanger. He has walked for Armani, Schiaparelli and Blumarine and is very clear when he has to say yes or no to a job.
2
Nuria Rothschild is one of Nora Var's best friends. She started all this when a photographer stopped her on the Gran Vía in Madrid. She soon decided to go to London and four years ago she made her debut with Saint Laurent showing off her rocker pose and attitude.
3
Carmen Celli, with a languid face and an imposing height (1.84), spends long periods of time in London, Milan and Paris. From catwalk to catwalk and getting closer to her dream of walking for Valentino.
4
Mayka Merino opened the Prada show in 2015, thus becoming the first Spaniard in history to achieve that honor. He has also starred in campaigns for Alexander McQueen and JW Anderson. He likes him for his atypical features.
5
Neus Bermejo. She was on the train when she was asked to start in the world of fashion. Former basketball player, she was going from Mataró to Barcelona when a stylist proposed a photo session. After a few years, she has become one of the most desired models and has had to divide her time and schedule between Barcelona and New York.
Born in Badalona, 1.82 meters tall and with such a powerful tone of voice that in the end it has become her main hallmark, precisely the youngest is seen as the leader of the group. Nora Vara, who was invited to try out the world of fashion at a very young age (by a neighbor, how are things!) did not dare to take the plunge until she was 16.
Since then, and without putting her studios on hold, she has spent more than half a year outside modeling for everyone (she particularly enjoyed working for Armani and Kiss) but maintains her headquarters in Badalona. There she has her house and her tattoo artist boyfriend. The one who has written "good girl, bad seed" on the soles of her feet.
