The Guinness Book of Records recently inscribed on its list the largest glass bridge in Latin America. And what do you think? This structure has just been inaugurated these days and is located in Mexico.

On December 11, the Popocatépetl Sky Bridge was inaugurated, a suspension bridge with a glass floor that joins two hotels: the Wyndham Puebla Angelópolis and La Quinta by Wyndham Puebla Palmas Angelópolis.

The Sky Bridge is part of a tourism project open to the public that includes a roof-top and a restaurant bar in Angelópolis, the modern area of ​​the city of Puebla , very close to the La Estrella de Puebla ferris wheel.

The tour, which must be done with tennis, lasts between 15 and 18 minutes, and costs 150 pesos per person. At night the bridge is illuminated with LED lights. This elevated walkway with a transparent floor and built with cables from Canada is not suitable for those who are afraid of heights, as it is suspended 61 meters above the ground and is 148 meters long. That is why it was registered in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest glass suspension bridge in Latin America.

Only 15 people can be on this suspension bridge at the same time.

Touch the clouds in Ixtlán de Juárez, Oaxaca

In the Sierra Norte de Oaxaca, in the municipality of Ixtlán de Juárez, they opened, at the beginning of December, a 30-meter-long, 200-meter-high u-shaped glass viewpoint on the cliff of Cuachirindoo hill, with views of the forest-covered mountains and the village houses. The community company Ecoturixtlán is in charge of this viewpoint. Access is 150 pesos per person.

Ixtlán de Juárez is one of the so-called Joint Towns of Oaxaca, where the community brings you closer to its culture and, above all, to its nature, with adventure activities, guided tours and lodging in beautiful cabins.

The Magical Town of Xicotepec, in the Huasteca region of Puebla, hides one of the best places to contemplate the Sierra Madre Oriental. It is the Mirador de la Cruz Celestial, a structure 30 meters high and 15 meters long. To get to the top where this viewpoint was built, you have to climb a cobblestone path with 750 steps. Along the way you will enjoy nature.

Mezcal adventure in Michoacán

Glass bridge in Zacatlán de las Manzanas

About five minutes from the heart of Zacatlán de las Manzanas, in Puebla, is the Paseo de la Barranca de los Jilgueros, famous for its crescent-shaped glass bridge, 400 meters above the ravine and suspended in the precipice.
