Confirmed the grid of shows for the anniversary of San Martín de los Andes
San Martín de los Andes celebrates its 124th anniversary with a complete schedule of shows. Regional artists will take over the stages located in the center, on the waterfront of Lake Lacar and in the Cordones del Chapelco neighborhood. Kapanga is the confirmed band that will close the shows on Saturday, according to the local mayor Carlos Saloniti.

“This year the central festivities will take place over three days, with different shows and events ", explained the community chief. In addition, this year they decided to carry out the civic-military parade, which on the previous anniversary had been canceled due to the pandemic. In turn, he added that there will be "sports and cultural activities in all neighborhoods of the city."
The festivities begin on Thursday, February 3. The stage located in Cordones del Chapelco will give rise to cumbia with the bands La Nueva, Proyecto Ranchero and La Covid. At 10:15 p.m., the chamamé will close the night with the Chama de Cristal. Thus "we will begin to beat the birthday of the city", said Saloniti.

On Friday the 4th, the activities begin at 5:30 p.m. in the center of town, in Plaza San Martín. There will be a formal ceremony there. At 6:00 p.m., on Avenida San Martín, the civic-military parade will take place. And already at 9:00 p.m. the shows will begin with Zhitary, a work that combines dance and electronic music. Then the dj Herman López Música will present himself with a light show. These artists will be located on the main stage, on the waterfront of Lake Lacar.
On Saturday, rock will take center stage. Nimbus and San Norberto are the regional bands that will start the shows at 8:00 p.m. That night La Covid will perform again and "the closing of the shows will be led by Kapanga," Saloniti said. The renowned band that fuses ska, rock and quartet will perform at 10:15 p.m. on the main stage of the waterfront.
