In full color! The spring summer 2021 beauty trends are loaded with colourful, loud and fluorescent elements. After all, the new season is coming, hand in hand with the sun's rays and low temperatures and it encourages us to show off more colour, both in our fashion looks and outfits and in makeup.

And the Versace show at Milan Fashion Week has given us the keys to applying that extra color to our makeup. What is the key to make up this spring? It is clear, the protagonists of this season are the eyes. The reason is pure logic, because with the mandatory use of masks, both the lips and the cheeks seem to have faded into the background, since they are covered with this security element against covid-19. However, they leave the eyes free, marked with expression, with which we can continue to express ourselves through cosmetics.

For this reason, Versace has opted for a light and juicy makeup base, and a gloss-style lipstick that provides a slight pink color on the lips and most importantly: an extra shine with a volumizing or plumping effect. However, the true protagonists of the make up of the Italian firm are without a doubt: the eyes.

To highlight the look, Versace has opted to use super colorful eyeliner and shadows, almost in a fluorescent shade, either in strawberry pink or intense turquoise, creating a striking effect on the models.

Want to get that effect? We tell you how to get the most turquoise look.

1. Colored eyeliner

To achieve this eye makeup, the first thing is to mark the shape with the help of an eyeliner. To do this, we get the Fenty Beauty eyeliner, Flypencil, available at Sephora. It is a long-lasting, creamy and waterproof product, with which you can easily draw the design you want.

To achieve the same effect as the Versace models, we opted for the Lady Lagoon shade, in turquoise (20.99 euros).

2. Matching eyeshadow

To complete the design on the eyelid and fill in the drawing, we set aside the eyeliner and use eyeshadow. We are left with Perfect Mono, the cream eye shadow from Dolce & Gabbana. Thanks to its creamy texture, it is easy to apply and also long-lasting (18.95 euros).

3. A bit of shine

To finish, we apply a bit of shine, especially in the tear duct area, to illuminate the eyes and achieve that wow effect. With that goal in mind, we are left with the glitter metallic effect shadow from Sephora Collection (6.99 euros). With tone number 20, we managed to blend the colors of both shadows and replicate Versace's makeup.

4. Let's not forget the eyelashes

Finally, to finish the makeup look, all that remains is to mark our eyes with a good mascara, which provides volume and length. We did not doubt it and we bet on the new product of Benefit, the mask They're Real! Magnet, which thanks to its innovative technology and cosmetics, achieve a hypnotic look (29.99 euros).
