The Metropolitan Area of Barcelona (AMB) begins the works to build a catwalk that will cross the two banks of the SEC river in Ripollet, from the Park of Masot to the Right Margin Way or Ermita Passage.The works will have an approximate cost of 260.000 euros.
The objective of this catwalk is to help enhance the environmental quality of this river space with native vegetation plantations.This project is part of the Program of Improvement Actions of the Natural and Urban Landscape (PSG) of the AMB, which has European Feder (European Regional Development Fund).

The works have the financing of the European Regional Development Fund
This work follows three metropolitan strategies: the adaptation of the space for the use and leisure of citizens, the impulse of sustainable mobility from one side to the other of the river and the media environmental recovery of the river course.

Apart from this performance, the AMB intends to finish at the end of February a hanging catwalk on the Ripoll River as it passes through Barberá del Vallès.
