As part of the textile fair that takes place from this Friday to Sunday at the Old Customs, the great Bicentennial Catwalk will take place today, at Parque Francia in Barrio Escalante, starting at 6 pm
The event is open to the public and free, with limited capacity and will feature the music of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Costa Rica.

More than 50 national designers participate in the textile fair and more than 40 will exhibit part of their collections on the catwalk.
The hours are from 10 am to 8 pm, and the initiative aims to promote the appropriation of public spaces.
In addition, it seeks to be a showcase to showcase national talent and promote the fashion industry with the values of innovation, sustainability, creativity and human talent.

“We have enabled this space to offer an unprecedented cultural activity that brings together both the fashion design sector and the musical and artistic sector. We are going to take over the public space so that designers feel supported and encouraged and can show their work”, said Claudia Dobles, First Lady of the Republic.
As a complement to the fair, there will be an exhibition of costumes from the Costa Rica of yesteryear, a work by the National Theater Company, in the Casa del Cuño and the proposal "Escalante Lives Gastronomy", which will include the businesses present in Escalante neighborhood.
