Let's travel to the past
Carrefour used to be Pryca and Continente in Spain and if this doesn't surprise you, surely you had a t-shirt like the ones that the chain now sells for 5 euros

You are going to have to explain to any generation Z twenty-something or teenager that the hypermarkets they are so used to in the middle of 2022 have nothing (or very little) to do with the ones you frequented in the 80s and 90s. Just like that they will be able to understand what your most recent discovery means: the new collection loaded with nostalgia that Carrefour has brought to the market. We knew that vintage is the new luxury, but we didn't expect to have so many years later t-shirts and sneakers that make us travel back in time with just a glance and at a really surprising price.
The truth is that more than 30 years ago, Pryca was the chain that many Spanish families turned to for their purchases. The passage of time and the progress of the Carrefour Group ended up causing this brand to disappear in 2000 and adopt the name of supermarkets of French origin. Now, far from coming to talk to you about any basic T-shirt, we are dealing with one with the Pryca logo.
The creatives in the fashion area of the supermarket continue to think of actions to attract the attention of buyers and they are achieving their goal. Just a couple of months ago we told you about Mery Turiel's look with a super pretty coat from Carrefour that could be the guarantor of successful winter outfits.
What keeps us with a feeling in the body of having traveled to the past is now a much simpler garment, because this white t-shirt with green borders and logo is a reflection of those that were given away right and left as propaganda a few decades ago. . They became part of our collection of essential clothing and reliable garments to run errands, be at home or play sports.
It is precisely not crazy to assure the younger generations that this apparently simple t-shirt with a logo print on the chest is part of our imagination and youth. In fact, we are sure that there will be more than one person who has an original copy of those that inspired this proposal in some drawer. Fortunately, if you and yours were more from Continente, a chain that also became Carrefour throughout the world except in Portugal (its country of origin), you will be delighted to see this second model that is also part of the collection.
As a curious fact, on a second-hand clothing sales page we found a vintage Pryca t-shirt that was sold for 13 euros in 2019. That is, for more than double what a new one costs you now in the markets (5 euros). ) there were people who turned to the internet to satisfy their longing to have a T-shirt from those years again. We suspect that the collection will be a success, so if you want one, we recommend you hurry. However, that's not all, as you will also find some very cool sneakers and socks from both brands.
On sale for only 15 euros, these colorful sneakers promise to follow in the footsteps of the famous Lidl sneakers that swept sales and were resold at astronomical prices on the internet. It was really crazy and it was not a design that, like these, is based on the memories of the market. Ah, the nostalgia!
Carrefour reported that these proposals will be on sale in a limited edition in only 30 hypermarkets and on the chain's website. You can check if the one you usually frequent has the collection to sign up one day to make the purchase with an extra incentive to your agenda. We wish you the best of luck.
