|26.01.2022| We present below the reflections of several of the companies participating in Milano Unica 2022; international fashion and accessories show to be held at the Milano Rho fairgrounds on February 1 and 2, 2022:
Adalberto
Adalberto returns in this edition to Milano Unica after more than five years of absence. He does so with the aim of “expanding our participation in this market, which is so strategic for the Fashion Industry”, according to Tâmara Martins, from the firm's commercial department. To which he adds: "we trust that the market is eager for novelties and, therefore, we believe that we will find good business opportunities in the Italian market", he explains, justifying the return to the fair".
In addition to the spring-summer 2023 collection, where he will present his proposals for printed fabrics, Adalberto will bring to Milano Única “three capsule collections with innovative raw materials; printing techniques with natural pigments; and functional finishes”, announces Tâmara Martins.
La Europe / La Estampa
An absolute debut of this edition of MU is La Europe / La Estampa. The firm has decided to attend the show to gain a larger customer base in this market. This is confirmed by Joana Silva, from the company Satinskin, owner of the brands.
Lemar
This company, veteran in Milano Única, has a very important part of its turnover coming from the Italian market. Since Lemar they have shown great enthusiasm at their return to the physical room. “The sector really wants to get back to normal and restart its activity. Online is important, but complementary in a sector in which the senses continue to be the main differentiator”. These are the words of Rita Fonseca, who will bring to Milan the largest collection of sustainable fabrics produced at Lemar. This season, recycled polyester and polyamide, as well as numerous biodegradable options will be the highlights.
RDD
Creativity is, in the opinion of Dolores Gouveia, director of Marketing and Design at RDD, one of the keys to the company's regular participation in Milano Única. “It is always very positive, since we are always able to present sustainable creative meshes; a fundamental criterion for this market”, defends Gouveia.
On its return to Milan, RDD will bring a range of new products among which stand out: Lyocell Bamboo, Seacell, Orange, Pineapple and Banana, as well as new generation artificial mixtures with Linen or Hemp. The company will also present its Circulose range, regenerated fibers produced from cotton waste, and the new RDD x Valérius 360 collection.
Fitecom
Fitecom considers Milano Única “a direct gateway to the Italian market. Specifically for the medium-high market segment in which we operate. MU is also an important showcase for the Asian markets, as well as for our traditional markets”. This is stated by João Carvalho, general director of Fitecom. At the show, the company will present fine fabrics made from natural and biodegradable fibers, as well as a range of recycled synthetic fibers.
