This means that Miss Mexico will not be able to bring back the crown for Mexico since just about seven months ago model and activist Andrea Meza was the winner of the contest.

Meza is present at the award, for she must pass her crown to the new queen at the end of the night.

The third Miss universe of Mexico appeared wearing a red dress to share a few words with the public at the end of her reign.

Harvey asked him what had happened in this period of reign:

"it's hard to say one thing, it was just seven months but a very intense period in my life that completely changed me, I'D say it would be working with vulnerable groups of women and empowering other women. When you're there you realize that you have the power to inspire. "
