Dior is inspired by art and masculine formality in his new collection
For the Dior House's Winter 2021-2022 collection, artistic director Kim Jones is inspired by the masculine extravagance of formal attire; a link to the past, which is still alive today.
Like haute couture, it connects the now with the past and serves as a window into history and tradition. Tradition and contemporary style come together in this collection, which marks the beginning of a collaboration with the Scottish artist Peter Doig, who lives in Trinidad and Tobago.
