David Bustamante, Victoria Abril, Verónica Forqué, Carmina Barrios, Miki Nadal, Terelu Campos, Juanma Castaño, Vanesa Romero, Iván Sánchez, Belén López, Arkano , Samantha Hudson, Tamara, Yotuel, Eduardo Navarrete and Julian Iantzi make up the cast of the new edition of MasterChef Celebrity, which opens this Monday, September 13.
Of all of them, Eduardo Navarrete is among the most unknown participants for a significant part of the public, unless they are familiar with the world of fashion and the talent show Masters of Sewing.
And it is that Eduardo Navarrete was one of the applicants who competed in the first edition of Masters of Sewing, in 2018. He was a very popular contestant due to his strong character, and also to his great work with the needle and the thread. Towards the middle of the program he was expelled, but then he managed to win the playoffs and became a finalist. He had confrontations with some of his colleagues, and even with the jury, who reprimanded him for his need to attract attention.
Born in Alicante in 1994, Eduardo Navarrete graduated in fashion design at IDEP Barcelona, and before entering the RTVE talent show, he had already dressed celebrities such as La Terremoto de Alcorcón. After Masters of Sewing he was finally able to found his own fashion firm.
One of her most recent collections, this spring, was inspired by Manolita Chen's Chinese Theater, and was presented by Yolanda Ramos, with Ricky Merino, Blanca Romero and Rosa Valenty as mannequins of her garments. "I am the king of sublimation, I love a 'pulprin', and I used sequined fabric that I later printed," she said about her collection. It should be noted that on occasion Eduardo has said in interviews that being a clothing designer was not his first job option, since his dream was to be a star. Her passion for the show is allowed to emerge through La Nenuco, her drag character, which she spoke about in Maestros.
