A designer from Alicante wins Vogue Who's On Next 2021
Although the gold medal was close –Sonia Carrasco (Valencia) and Reveligion (Seville) were the other two applicants–, the designer from Alicante Domingo Rodríguez Lázaro has managed to join the wave of emerging designers who have received the award in recent years, among which are Marcela Mansergas, Juan Vidal, Maria ke Fisherman, ManéMané, Moisés Nieto, Leandro Cano, Palomo Spain, Carlota Barrera and Mans.
A shared vision of sustainability, diversity and craftsmanship within the world of fashion was the nexus of the three candidates, who had the honor of meeting the president of the jury, Edward Enninful, director of British Vogue and Editorial Director of Vogue in Europe.
